When it comes to kids, we know fun is a moving target. Some like soccer, and some can’t wait to join the circus. Some think they were born for the stage, and others would rather design the stage.

With that in mind, we thought about what makes you and them happy. Then we teamed up with Hillario Productions’ Cirque du Jour and Kings Camps and Foundation, England’s leading camp experts, to design a brand-new youth program that gives everyone more ways to enjoy the best vacation ever. Now, kids can find their own adventure Under the Big Top, or you can all discover fun together. Did someone say Family Dodge Ball?

“We’ve already taken family programming to the next level by offering Nickelodeon™ experiences on some ships. Now, we want to make sure that we are continuing to offer the best possible experience for families,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian’s Chief Executive Officer. “To do this, we are investing millions of dollars in revamping our youth and family programming.”

Entourage, our new lineup for teens, serves up their favorite sports from around the world and offers workshops where they can explore fashion and discover theater. We even throw nighttime pool parties and host teen discos to keep the action going.

For little Norwegians, we created Splash Academy to teach them how to juggle and other cool circus tricks from Cirque Du Jour. Their imaginations will come in handy when they create their own works of art or become pirates and conjure up adventures at sea. And because we know they really like surprises, circus clowns and balloon artists may pop up at any moment for spontaneous fun all over the ship.

The new lineup, which includes a different theme every day, made its grand debut in February on Norwegian Gem and will appear on Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Star, Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Epic by the end of May. The rest of the fleet will be featured by the end of this year.

With our new Splash Academy and Entourage, traveling to great family destinations like Alaska can be as fun as being there. Whether you want to do things together or find your own adventure, you’ll have plenty to choose from. And when you arrive, instead of just throwing snowballs, try juggling them.
