BREAKAWAY LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

When we first designed Norwegian Breakaway, our newest ship launching in spring 2013, we combined our history of innovation with the idea of bringing to life the romance of traveling on water.

Now comes the reality of that vision: The Waterfront and 678 Ocean Place.

The Waterfront, the first of its kind, reinvents the classic boardwalk with an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and shops alongside spectacular ocean views.

As you walk the boardwalk that extends a quarter mile around the ship, The Waterfront lets you explore all it has to offer at your own pace. Try fresh seafood or grab an oceanside table at our Italian trattoria. Then wander down The Waterfront and pick up a fresh gelato for dessert. Or just take a sunset stroll unlike any other at sea.

From The Waterfront, you can easily step into 678 Ocean Place, a revolutionary space that lets you move effortlessly among three decks of dining, entertainment and even more exciting things to do.

Deck 8 lets you sit oceanside or at an intimate table indoors. Start the night with a perfectly mixed martini, then choose between our traditional steakhouse, Brazilian Churrascaria, or one of the other delicious restaurants.

Get the action rolling in our 18,000-square-foot casino on Deck 7. Or find your inner rhythm at the Manhattan Room, our New York-style supper club with two-story panoramic windows centered around a swinging dance floor. For a faster beat, make your way through a tunnel of LED lights to the pulsing dance floor at nearby Bliss Ultra Lounge.

With so much to do, you might find your menu too packed for a full meal, so stop by our noodle bar for some dim sum or grab a burger at our neighborhood pub.

Then again, if you’re ready to slow down and unwind with some fine cuisine, head to Deck 6 and our traditional French cafe, Le Bistro. If it’s a really late night, order up some coffee and people watching at The Cafe at the Atrium, and relax in front of our two-story video wall.

With Norwegian Breakaway, we introduce a new world-class ship designed to let you embrace the sea in “a unique experience unlike anything else at sea,” explained Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Chief Executive Officer. Explore its innovative spaces, and discover why Norwegians cruise like no other people on earth.

Norwegian Breakaway sets sail in May 2013 from New York City to Bermuda for the spring and summer. In winter, she will head to the Caribbean and Bahamas & Florida. For more information, go to breakaway.ncl.com
